Ecuador, one of the most biodiverse countries, offers unique coffee with floral and nuanced flavours when produced well. Although it has ideal coffee-growing conditions and heirloom Typica trees, Ecuador’s coffee hasn’t historically ranked among the top origins due to inconsistent harvesting and processing practices. However, recent quality initiatives are helping farmers produce better coffee and secure higher prices. Great Ecuadorian coffee is balanced, bright, and clean, with a moderate body and occasional floral notes.
