Ethiopia Guji 2 Kayon Mountain – Organic Washed

Guji, a remote and forested region in Ethiopias Oromia area, is protected by the Guji tribe, who have long resisted mining and logging. Coffee is grown at high elevations, starting at 2,000 metres, in untouched environments. Kayon Mountain, a large estate founded in 2012 by Ismael Hassen, spans 500 hectares and grows select Ethiopian arabica varieties. Unlike most smallholder farms, Kayon Mountain exports directly, bypassing the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange, and follows organic, conservation-focused practices. The estate collaborates with 12 other certified organic farms. Guji is emerging as a key coffee region, known for its unique, candy-like coffee profiles.
